Making vintage style hats has sent me on a search for some of the real thing. Thanks to Poppycock Vintage Hats I now have some gorgeous cheapies… nothing over $20!
I could have bought the lot, but money is tight. Of course if anyone wants to buy me a present…
I found some pretty vintage trims at the local Vinnies so I’ll be making more hats over the next few days and I promise photos and a giveaway!

Just took some shots of me wearing my favourite Erstwilder brooch so I thought I’d put one on here.
Maybe I should do a “what I wore” thing like other bloggers do. The only issue I have is that they are all gorgeous for example the stunning lass from Skunkboy or Vixen Vintage. I can do lots of shots of my shoes… I have nice shoes.

Recently I have been sewing vintage hats (from very old patterns) as a new addition to a new store I will be setting up on Etsy. Some of my hats have also gone to Gingerlily Vintage Wares in Alstonville.
Here are a few samples:
I have also made 1920s cloches and berets but they are in store at the moment. I’ll make some more up tonight and post the results.

Some shots of my bits and bobs from the September Lismore Twilight Market.
I am going to also do the Bangalow Market monthly. It is on the fourth Sunday of the month, the day after the Twilight market.
I want to really encourage people to visit the Lismore Twilight Market as it is a lovely evening and very casual. Stall holders have a lovely time.
